When thinking about the motivations that lie behind what we do with reference to the environment … there’s a question that may be helpful in pointing the mind in the right direction.
There are several versions:
#1 Do you have any personal responsibility around preparing for a post-petroleum world (projected to be about 50 years out)?
If the answer to #1 is YES… then
#2 What are those resposibilities?
- Now ?
- 1 Year ?
- 5 Years ?
etc.?
Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and … Try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now.
